Fueled up at Broken Hill, 171.90 a litre and headed towards Wilcannia then White Cliffs.
Old mine at Broken Hill.
J spotted this bearded dragon up a tree as we were just before White Cliffs.
J had told me about Wilcannia years ago after he had passed through there with some mates on the way to a fishing spot. I was amazed at the state of the town. The town is in a sad state of disrepair. Shops are boarded up or have metal screens. The locals have completely trashed the town.
Not a place you really want to stop in and grab a bite to eat. The streets are deserted and the only sign of life is at the servo or the pub. It appears to have once been a thriving community.
Kady was a little taken by the Paddy Melon's along the roadside.

It's sad to see little towns go to ruin like this isn't it.
