Only a week back at school and Leah's school are taking part in a stop work action.
Next Thursday, 14th February (Happy Birthday, Mum) the school will close all classes of all the teachers taking part.
Only two classes out of the entire school will not be taking part.
NOT HAPPY. I really feel sorry for Mum's who work full time and don't have the luxury of just staying home or being able to rearrange their shifts.
I know teachers should be paid more but it's a pain when so soon in the year they are stopping work.

Thats the whole idea to be a pain.....Dawn do you think teachers would love lossing a days pay so soon after christmas holidays...just my thoughts...and yes I know you know I'm a teacher but I'm one of those teachers who are sick and tired of spending countless hours doing school work...yeap I have a family too and I am getting tired of my 5 year old(yeap Will is 5!)saying are you still doing school work mum? leaving home at 7.15am and not getting home most nights till 6....OK jumping off my tired soapbox...don't mean to be mean but sometimes I think people really do need to spare a thought for teachers...and yes I spent the week before school went back working in my room for 6 hours a day for 3 days and thats not counting the stuff I did at home on yeap my holidays
