My bone scan came back clear of cancer. Such a relief. I have some degeneration in my spine and hip. I knew about my spine but not my hip. I had quite a bad fall from a horse when I was about thirteen so over the years they have told me that it damaged my back. Now my hip must be starting to show signs of trauma.
My chemo buddy Helen came with me yesterday for support. I was injected with some radioactive stuff and then had to wait over three hours for the scan. We went back to Helen's house and then headed off to the mall for lunch. The scan wasn't too bad. I had to lay still for 25 minutes whilst the machine went slowly over the top of me. A bit weird as it was only Cm's from my face and body. It was hard to lay still knowing you HAD to lay so still. The last two minutes my nose was itching. Ahhh the longest two minutes. They did a second scan just of my torso.
Had lunch with the girls today. A last minute decision to grab a coffee and lunch in the marsh with Tracey, Paula and Erica. Thanks for a great day girls. Nice coffee and a little retail therapy. What more could a girl want. We had lunch at Baby Black. mmmmm. Will share photos soon. I can't get them to download off my phone. Tracey sent some through so may have to share them.
