Finally have a planning day and a start date for radiotherapy. I see the doctor on 2nd January to work out a plan for radiotherapy. I have to have a CT Scan and also some tattoos put on my boob so that they make sure they line up the machine the same time each day when I go. At this stage I have to go for 30 sessions. Five days a week for six weeks. Oh the joy NOT. I will be marking each day off on the calendar.
My start date is 16th January (the day Jason goes back to work after his three weeks off). Looking forward to having a few weeks off to recover from this last chemo and get my immune system back on track and then get stuck into the radio.

I'm glad to hear you have a start date for your radiation Dawn but hate the thought of you having to go through it. Make sure you take some "You" time to recover from the chemo.
Love Lynn
Glad you finally have a date - make sure you let me know when it's my turn to drive you, even if it's a few times a week :)
Take a look at www.radiotherapydamaged.me.uk
don't want to frighten you but 'They' never tell you the whole story and all the side effects.
My life, along with hundreds of others has been ruined by radiotherapy treatment.
