Chemo 4

Haven't felt the best this time around. So tired. I crashed on the couch last night after getting home and had a little nana nap. Had an early night and woke up still feeling sick and exhausted. Blaming the pie I ate yesterday morning for feeling sick. I will remember to eat light next time. I was a little sick this morning. Mainly because I hadn't had breakfast and just the thought of swallowing tablets was doing horrible things to my stomach.

This morning I went to the doctors for my neulasta shot to boost my immunity. A quick stop off at the post office to post off some magazine work for the top ten and then back home. Pottered around a little and then hit the couch just after eleven. It is warm here today but I felt so cold. A doona and a blanket and a beanie on the old noggin and before long I woke up and it was 3.11pm. I didn't stir once. Luckily I had organised a neighbour to get the kids off the bus as by the time they arrived home at 4 as I was still feeling half asleep. I had to make myself eat a cracker and ate two icy poles. Finding the icy poles helped last time with the mouth side effects and also help with the fluid intake.

Hope to feel better tomorrow. Another early night tonight.

Can't believe you are up to number 4 already. I've been following your story since the beginning and you continue to amaze me with the way you are not appearing to let this take over your entire life. You are amazing and you will prevail over this! Big hugs.
