to my wonderful Nanny in England. I rang her tonight to wish her happy birthday. 86 years old today and looking 20 years younger. ( this photo was taken by Uncle Mick last year)
Love this lady with all my being. Nanny has been sick for a few weeks and her birthday isn't what it should be. No celebrating lunch with friends. etc.
To top it off she has been without heating since the weekend. The council still have to come out and look at it and fix it. My poor Nan had to put on the gas element on the stove this morning to warm up as they have had frosty mornings moving into winter. Nanny has an electic heater but we all know they don't heat the house well especially when you are sick. They are good for a room and that is it. Today Nanny was feelign a little better but still shaky on the road to recovery. Kady and Leah had a great chat to Nanny as did Jason. Hope our call made her feel a little better.

Hi Rosy, no nanny in my eyes has never ages as long as she has been my nanny. We were chatting about her hair the other night. She went white very young and has never had to dye her hair. She has very young outlook on life and we chat on the phone often. So cheap to ring you guys in England.
We had a letter from mum today, she had the flu needle, that is why she has been very sick, but she is on the mend now.
