Dylan's Induction

We have a sad girl this week. Kady's boyfriend, of nearly 15 months was inducted into the airforce today. Kady, Dylan's Mum and Dad and cousin went along to watch the short ceremony.

Dylan was accepted to do a gap year. Just over 100 were accepted out of about 2500 applicants. Dylan will have the option of joining up or leaving after or during the year.

Kady is going to miss him so much but after boot camp he will come home for a week here and there. After Easter he will be posted to Amberley or to Wagga.

Dylan will have a few weeks with no phone contact and only letter writing. We wish him all the best in his new career. An amazing opportunity.
