Kookaburra's

It has been cold and damp today. We had 5 ml of rain overnight. Today we had to go out into the forest and cut some firewood for the next few weeks.

We came home and J was splitting the wood under the watchful eye of six Kookaburras. They are so cute and so funny. They kept sitting so close to the splitter that J was worried he would hit one. All they were worried about was checking the wood for some yummy lizards or grubs.
