Sad to hear that Belinda Emmett passed away this morning after an eight year battle with breast cancer and secondary bone cancer. Feel sorry for her family and hubby Rove. He must be devastated.
I read up a little on the treatments she received eight years ago when she was first diagnosed. The approach and treatment has changed considerably in just that short amount of time. I also read that she knew she had a lump in her breast for about two years,before getting it checked. Being only 22 when she first found the lump she never thought it was anything to worry about.
Just another reminder to get all changes and lumps checked straight away. Once again I stress please check yourself and have regular mammograms and ultrasounds. You never ever think that it will be you. Early detection is the best way of beating this horrible disease.

I was devastated to hear about Belinda, she was such a beautiful and strong lady, I am speechless about it Dawn and feel very very sad.
I admired her strength. Although she never came back to being full of life..sad
