It's a little chilly today. Snow is predicted down to 700 metres. We are about 690 metres so we are hoping for a little of the white stuff. It's bitterly cold outside in the wind. This morning when the girls were leaving for school it was 2.8 degrees with a windchill of minus 1.2.
The last few mornings the girls have been taking their thermos to school filled with hot cauliflower soup. Just perfect to open at lunchtime and warm up. I bought these thermos from kitchenware shops. They are small, compact and come with a cup for a lid and a spoon that sits in the screw top lid. They hold 450grams and keep things hot for 7 hours and cold for 9 hours. Perfect for summer or winter.
