Day four and we left Nelson and headed to the Grampians. On the way we stopped at a little town called Dartmoor to check out the wood carvings. These were all carved from trees in the centre of town they were going to be cut down due to safety issues. They wanted to preserve them some way and decided to make these carvings. Down the main street they are all a tribute to the diggers. Just across the bridge in the main street there is a huge tree with all fairy tales carved around it. There is a lizard, native animals and three horses drinking from a water trough.
